The funeral for V. Em. Kt. Pt. Alex Russell, Immediate Past High Priest of Forth Valley Tabernacle No. 175, will be held on Monday 29th April at 2.00pm in Brucefield Church, 54 East Main Street, Whitburn, EH47 0RD and then at 3.00pm in West Lothian Crematorium, Starlaw Road, Livingston, EH54 8SF.
The General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") came into effect on 25th May 2018. Accordingly, the following procedures must be adopted by Tabernacles:-
V. Em. Kt. Pt. Alexander K. Russell was installed as High Priest of Forth Valley on Saturday 17th February 2018. Given Alex's extensive masonic experience we are sure he will have a very successful year in office.
Grateful thanks are also extended to V. Em. Kt. Pt. David Smillie on the completion of his tenure as High Priest, during which he admitted 5 new members to the Tabernacle. I advise with sadness of the death of of Ill. Kt. Pt. W. David H. Britton, PGIVP. The funeral will take place at Dunfermline Crematorium on Wednesday, 27th December 2017 at 1.15pm and thereafter to the function suite at East End Park, DunfermlineForth Valley had their regular meeting on last Wednesday during which James O. Ferguson was admitted. We Welcome Kt. Pt. Jim to the Order and wish him happiness in his membership.
Ill. Kt. Pt. James G. Carmichael, DT, PGVP was awarded the honour of Companion of Holy Wisdom by the Grand Superintendent and we warmly congratulate Jim on this well deserved accolade. V. Ill. Kt. Pt. Paul G. Miller, KHW, PGVIIP, having been awarded Knight of Holy Wisdom at the Annual Assembly of Grand College in June, was presented with his KHW Certificate and lozenge by the Grand Superintendent. A most enjoyable evening was had by all.
V. Em. Kt. Pt. William Workman was installed as High Priest of Claverhouse Tabernacle no. 143 on Saturday 11th March 2017. Hearty congratulations and best wishes are extended to Bill for a happy and successful year as High Priest.
Congratulations are also extended to V. Em. Kt. Pt. Thomas Lloyd on the completion of his year as High Priest. The Grand Superintendent also carried out the Ceremony of Banner Dedication at the meeting. This was the first time a Banner Dedication has been worked in Scotland and the Ceremony seemed to meet with the approval of the assembled Kt. Pts. Pictured with Claverhouse's splendid new banner are M. Em. Kt. Pt. Ian P. Duff, Deputy Grand High Priest, V. Em. Kt. Pt. Bill Workman and the Grand Superintendent.
The District will hold its first Annual Meeting in Rosyth on Saturday 27th May 2017 at 11.00am. In addition to the presentation of the District accounts and other general business, there will be a discussion on the qualifications required for admission to a Tabernacle and an Order of Holy Wisdom Congregation for the admission of candidates to that Order. It is hoped that as many Kt. Pts. as possible will attend the Annual Meeting and that it will be a useful and enjoyable addition to the District calendar. Lunch will be provided after the meeting. V. Em. Kt. Pt. Don McPherson was installed as High Priest of the Kingdom of Fife Tabernacle No. 220 on Saturday 3rd September. We wish Don every success for his year in office.
